The Late Bobby McAvoy

McAvoy, (Lurgan),  June 14, 2026,  peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Bobby, beloved partner of Doreen and dearly loved father of Conor, Kieran, Mark, and Shauna, and devoted stepfather to Mark, Tracey, David, and Daryl. A much-loved and cherished grandfather and  a loving son of the late Kathleen and Joe McAvoy (Kilwilke, Lurgan), a dear brother of Kathleen, Peter, Liz, and the late Joe, and a devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews. 

Bobby will repose at his family home, 28 Hillcrest, Lurgan, BT66 8QU, tomorrow Tuesday and on Wednesday from 11.00am to 9.00pm. Family and friends are warmly welcome to visit and pay their respects.

Funeral will leave his family home on Thursday at 9.30am for Requiem Mass in St Paul’s Church, Lurgan, at 10.00 am. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.
