The Late Patrick (Paddy) Thornbury

Thornbury (Ashdene Park, Lurgan), 3 December 2025, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Patrick (Paddy), beloved husband of Joan, and much-loved father of Christopher and Deborah, a dear father-in-law to Margaret and Tony, and a devoted grandfather to Hannah (James), John (Niamh), Sophie (Conor) and the late Carla, and great grandfather to Olivia, Ada, Carla and Evie.

Loving son of the late Arthur and Catherine Thornbury (Brown Street, Lurgan) and  brother of Arthur (Art), Una, and the late Kathleen, Lelia, Alice, Denis, Aidan and Jerome, who died in infancy, a dear brother in law and uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Paddy will repose at McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan BT66 6QP, tomorrow (Friday) from 3.00pm until 8.00pm where family and friends will be welcome to visit and pay their respects.

Funeral on Saturday at 10.00am to St. Paul’s Church, Lurgan for 10.30am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.

The family home is strictly private.
